Obituary for Charles "Chuck" David Usas

Charles “Chuck” D. Usas, 57, of Lakeview, OH, passed away Thursday morning, November 2, 2017 at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

Chuck was born on November 3, 1959 in Dayton, OH to the late Don Usas and Edna Harrison Weber. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Donald Weber.

On December 4, 1976, he married Gloria McMillen in Kenton, OH and she survives along with their two children, Amber (Joe) King of DeGraff, OH, and Kyle (Meagan Monard) Usas of Bellefontaine, OH, five grandchildren, Cody and Alexa King, and Tyler, Kennedy, and Jackson Usas, a sister, Cheryl (Gary) Downing of Huntsville, OH and a brother, Chris Usas, and several nieces and nephews include a special niece, Amy Kissling of Kenton.

Chuck was a 1978 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He was a salesman for various companies throughout his career. Chuck enjoyed boating, fishing, working on muscle cars and listening to rock n roll music especially KISS. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds and Bengals fan. His greatest joy was being with his family and playing with his grandchildren.

Rich Szima will begin memorial services at 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview with visitation from 12-2. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center, OH.

Memorial contributions may be given in his name to Hospice of Putnam County.
