Obituary for Charles E Howell

Charles E. Howell, 83, of Santa Fe, OH passes away Friday, July 13, 2018 at Auglaize Acres in Wapakoneta, OH.

Charles was born on February 2, 1935 in Washington Twp, Logan Co, OH, a son of the late Jack and Hazel Scott Howell. He was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Blakley Howell, and three siblings, Murrell Howell, Gene Howell, and Twila Howell.

He is survived by two sons, Ray (Dawn Nolan) Howell and Jon Howell, both of Santa Fe, two grandsons, Shawn Howell of Lakeview and Coby (Berlyn) Howell of Santa Fe, four great grandchildren, and three sisters, Dorris Mills of Bellefontaine, OH, Velva McDermick of Santa Fe, and Donna Jean.

Charles was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. He was known for his abilities in operating a bulldozer. He loved animals, working and enjoyed the simple things in life.

Dr. Scott Anderson will begin funeral services at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 19, 2018 at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St, Lakeview. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 18th from 3-7 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery, Gutman, OH.
