Charlotte A. Gallup, 79, of Russells Point, OH passed away peacefully Wednesday night, April 4, 2018 at her home.
Charlotte was born on March 3, 1939 in Ashley, OH, a daughter of the late Delmar and Thelma Spillers Marvin. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Hugh, Ronnie and Sharon Marvin.
On November 17, 1957, she married Carl Gallup at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Lima, OH and he survives along with their four children; Dale (Carolyn) Gallup of Hicksville, OH, Deborah (Daniel) Diem of Plain City, OH, Diane (Timothy) Dunbar of Republic, OH, and Dawn (Charles) Monk of Plain City, seven grandchildren; Rachel, Aaron, Matthew, Maria, Marcen, Travis, and Tyler eight great grandchildren, six siblings; Delmar “Gene” Marvin, Lloyd Marvin, Sarah Purtee, Judy Millhouse, Harold “Butch” Marvin, and Jerry Marvin, and several nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was a 1957 graduate of Jackson Center High School. She was a member of Galilee Lutheran Church in Russells Point. Charlotte enjoyed playing bingo, euchre, and rummy, and taking pontoon rides on Indian Lake. She loved being with her family and playing with her grandchildren.
Pastor Karen Torrez will begin a memorial service at 10:30 am, Monday, April 23, 2018 at Galilee Lutheran Church, 301 Lincoln Blvd, Russells Point.
Memorial contributions may be given in her name to St. Rita’s Hospice.
