Obituary for Marjorie E. Bauer

Marjorie E. Bauer, 85, of Huntsville, OH passed away Wednesday evening, July 19, 2017 at Logan Acres Care Center, Bellefontaine, OH.

Marjorie was born on June 22, 1932 in Dayton, OH to the late Warren, Sr. and Nancy McClure Rhoades. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Warren E. Rhoades, Jr.

She is survived by niece, Nancy Payton of Reno, NV, nephew, Ed (Wanda) Rhoades of Lumberton, NC, sister-in-law, Kay Rhoades of Lima, OH, many cousins, great nieces and nephews and longtime good friend, Nancy Benadum of Huntsville.

Marjorie was a graduate of Fairview High School, in Dayton, OH. She worked for Ohio Bell and retired from Pacific Telephone in San Diego, CA after 31 years of service. An avid reader, she lived in many places in Southern CA and at Indian Lake during her retirement. Marjorie was a member of the Indian Lake Community Church, Dayton Victory Order of Eastern Star #594 for over 60 years, Indian Lake Women of the Moose #452 and Doyle R.Miller Amvets Post #39 Auxiliary, both in Lakeview, OH and was a life member of VFW Post #8892.

Per Marjorie’s wishes, her body was cremated and no formal services are planned. Inurnment is in Walnut Hill Cemetery, New Hampshire, OH at a later date.
