Obituary for Glenda L. Meyers

Glenda L. Meyers, 73, of Lakeview, OH, passed away March 10, 2018 at Heartland of Urbana.

Glenda was born on May 12, 1944 in Seco, KY, a daughter of the late Nash and Opal Powell Webb. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Webb Suman.

On July 14, 1962, she married William “Fred” Meyers at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Vandalia, OH and he survives along with their four children, Bill (Missy) Meyers of Westville, OH, Jeff Meyers of Tawawa, OH, Michele (John) Randall of Batavia, IL, and Lee (Wanda) Meyers of St. Paris, OH, nine grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.

Glenda was a 1962 graduate of Vandalia-Butler High School. She was a member of Galilee Lutheran Church in Russells Point. She enjoyed camping, and boating with Fred. Her greatest joy was family gatherings and being with her grandchildren. In addition to being the Mother every child wishes they had, Glenda previously worked at Indian Lake Schools, and AAA and Empire/ Traditions Restaurant, both in Urbana.

Pastor Karen Torrez will begin memorial services at 10:30 am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Galilee Lutheran Church, 301 Lincoln Blvd, Russells Point, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Galiliee Lutheran Church.
